Rules and Regulations
I: Greeting
Welcome to NEWVEL. NEWVEL is a learning language school which is based both on a web lesson and face-to-face lesson for learning Japanese. Here are the rules and regulations which are effective for those who want to join in TC and take lessons from us. So please take some time to understand these terms of use.
II: Conditions for enrolling at NEWVEL
Once enrollees join NEWVEL, they are obligated to these following terms
1. All you need to do is to agree with the rules and regulations of NEWVEL, then please register at the NEWVEL website and apply for a free-experimental lesson by emailing us.(Please see the page of "Flow of Admission" of the site)
2. After you agree with our lessons and its price, you will automatically be bound on financial obligation every month until you quit taking our monthly course (All contracts will become invalid as of November 2009, as our system will be revamped during that period of time)
3. For our instructors, we require that they either possess or are in the process of receiving a Registered Alien Identification Card. and a valid working/ working holiday visa.
4. Instructors must also possess a native level understanding of the language they intend to teach.
III: Changes to Ours Services and Lesson Methods.
From time to time NEWVEL will update different aspects of the company, i.e. Teaching methods and styles, computer systems etc and unfortunately we are unable to inform our clients of this, every time this happens.
IV: Purchase one of Our Monthly Courses.
1. Our Month's worth of lessons will be paid, and the contract initiated within seven days of the clients registration.
2. When paying your monthly fee for your lessons with NEWVEL please ensure that you pay before the 25th of the month as lessons begin promptly on the 1st of each month.
3. Once again, a reminder; as soon as you have paid your initial lesson fee you are bound by financial obligation to continue paying by the month for you lessons, until you terminate your contract. Please note; If you do not pay for the next months lessons, by the 25th of the current month your contract with NEWVEL will be considered invalid. All of NEWVEL's financial transactions are conducted through Paypal or by depositing the required fee into the NEWVEL bank account.
4. When you choose PayPal for the fee, the rate of your payment follows the rules of Paypal across any country.
5. Fee's paid to NEWVEL must be translated into yen, so it is up to the student to check the conversion rate between their native currency and the Japanese \.
V:Cancellation
When you need to cancel the enrolled course, you have to inform us before 25th of each month, otherwise you will be imposed another monthly lesson fee for next month.
VI: Prohibited use against any materials provided by NEWVEL
When you are enrolled with NEWVEL you are subject to the restrictions and prohibitions in use. If you do not agree, and do not obey the restrictions put in place by NEWVEL, we will terminate your contract and any affiliation you have with the NEWVEL name and trade mark.
NEWVEL will hold you responsible for any damages or losses that are caused by failure to comply with the NEWVEL restrictions.
The following acts are prohibited:
1. Any violent acts, threats and similar kinds of unlawful invasion against NEWVEL staff and other students such as information interference, and virus attacks to NEWVEL.
2. Drug misuse
3. Misuse of NEWVEL services.
4. Exposing and selling our contents including lessons, events, technology, strategies and so on.
5. To misuse anything such as images, pictures, animations, videos and etc except for the benefit of NEWVEL.
6. Transferring, leaking or selling part or the whole of information relating to individual curriculum of other students and their teachers.
VII: Termination
If you break any of the following regulations, or any of the regulations stated previously NEWVEL reserves the right to terminate your contract without refund and cut off your lessons, even in the midst of a months course. Grounds for immediate termination are;
1. Breaking the rules and regulations of NEWVEL.
2. Have not made payment for your Months worth of lessons.
3. inability to attend lessons due to your personal reasons.
4. Tamper with any date which comes from NEWVEL site.
VIII: Jurisdictional case
Any case which might possibly happen outside of the rules and regulations of NEWVEL will be subject to lawful action from the Tokyo District Court according to Japanese laws if both parties will not be able to reach a compromise.
IX: Others
Any term which is not mentioned in these Terms of Use, shall be solved in accordance with civil law or/and other current regulations. However, you should read the following notices.
1. We shall not be subject to personal affairs or trouble among the members, instructors related to NEWVEL.
2. We shall not disclose personal information of our members, instructors and anybody related to NEWVEL to people outside the company.
3. In the case of personal information being intentionally leaked, and taken by the third party, NEWVEL will not be held responsible.
4. Images, photos, videos of our clients will not be used for advertising NEWVEL without your permission.
5. The rules and regulations may be changed according to the will and best interests of NEWVEL and it's directors

At NEWVEL we are dedicated to safeguarding and preserving your privacy when visiting our site or communicating electronically with us. O
This Privacy Policy, together with our terms of use, provides an explanation as to what happens to any personal data that you provide to us, or that we collect from you.
We do update this Policy from time to time so please do review this Policy regularly.

The information that we collect and store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide our services to you. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:
i. To provide you with information requested from us, relating to our products or services. To provide information on other products which we feel may be of interest to you, where you have consented to receive such information.
ii. To meet our contractual commitments to you.
iii. To notify you about any changes to our website, such as improvements or service/product changes, that may affect our service.
If you are an existing customer, we may contact you with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale to you.
Further, we may use your data, or permit selected third parties to use your data, so that you can be provided with information about unrelated goods and services which we consider may be of interest to you.
